November OCS & Thank you Card

Hi everyone! It's already December and the holidays are here!! Today I have my November OCS card that I made for Mary from Florida. I also made a thank you card for one of my crafty sisters. I hope to do some holiday projects soon! I have three event orders that I am working on right now. It has been a hectic week getting all of these orders done! One order is for invitations and thank-you cards for a Christening. The other two events are birthday parties.

Walk for Autism 2009

Hi everyone! How's the weekend going? Hope everyone is well! Today was the Walk for Autism here in Las Vegas. Every year we participate in this walk which will help fund the research needed to find both a cause and cure for Autism. As most of you know, I have all 3 of my kids on the Autism spectrum. My daughter has the highest form of Autism which is known as Aspergers Syndrome. My twin sons have a mild to moderate form of Autism. They all have different behaviors, challenges, and strengths. I work every single day on keeping things consistent and teaching them and re-teaching them basic life skills and academic skills. We do have bumps in the road every now and then. But we also have accomplishments and goals that are fulfilled! Each and everyday I am amazed by something that my kids do or say! One thing that I always keep in mind is that they are just kids. They are kids that need to enjoy what every child gets to enjoy during their childhood. The one thing that sets them apart from other kids is Autism. Autism brings challenges that they all have been working very hard to overcome. Each day is a new day. It never gets boring in my house!!! :)

Today we walked for them. Today we walked for a cure. Today we walked for hope. Today we walked for the millions of children, teenagers, and adults affected by Autism. To learn more about Autism go HERE.

Happy Monday!

Hi everyone! Well it looks like I am getting my creative mojo back! I took a long break from all of my crafty projects. Not sure what it was, but I just didn't have any interest in creating anything or even working on some of the orders that I have for some upcoming events. I guess life was just very overwhelming for me at that time. So now I am back to normal, enjoying the process and crafting!!

The holidays are here and it is definitely the best time for crafting!! I posted my mini album for Fall and I have some cards that I am working on too. Hope that your holiday crafting has gotten off to a great start!!!

Today I have two cards. I made a birthday card for a very dear friend! I am super late with this card!! DP is from Basic Grey. I used my Nesties and Cuttlebug embossing folder. The other card is all about autumn!! I colored the image with my color pencils and stickles! DP and pumpkin border are from the Fall Recollections collection. MOSD November Project
